SITM chair offers two master thesis topics on IT application standards
The SITM chair offers two master thesis topics on IT application standards. Owing to the growing complexity and rising costs of organizational information technology, standards are essential for companies to manage and maintain their control over their IT. Insights from practice indicate that the implementation and enforcement of IT standards are crucial for their success. The first thesis aims to investigate employees’ willingness to accept IT standards. In doing so, an existing model is finalized and an appropriate measurement model is developed, which is later evaluated by means of a practitioner survey. The second thesis’s goal is to develop and evaluate practical recommendations for the successful implementation of IT standards in an organization. The application deadline for both topics is June 1.
