We are proud to announce that Prof. Ahlemann contributed a discussion to the article “The Impact of Digitalization on the IT Department”, which was published in the Business & Information Systems Engineering Journal (BISE). In his discussion, “IT Expertise Everywhere: Why the Single IT Department will Soon be History,” Prof. Ahlemann points out the major forces that impact today’s IT department and presents his view of a future IT department. The Business & Information Systems Engineering (BISE) is an international scholarly journal publishing scientific research on individuals’, groups’, enterprises’, and society’s effective and efficient design and utilization of information systems to improve social welfare.
