SITM paper accepted at 25th European Conference on Information System (ECIS)

We are proud to announce that the paper “Balancing Alignment, Adaptivity, and Effectiveness: Design Principles for Sustainable IT Project Portfolio Management” written by David Hoffmann, Thomas Müller, and Frederik Ahlemann was accepted for presentation and publication at the 25th European Conference on Information System (ECIS).
The paper analyzes the shortcomings of current IT Project Portfolio Management (IT PPM) approaches and calls for it to be refined in terms of flexibility and adaptability. The authors draw on an activity theory- (AT-)guided approach to provide valuable guidelines for a more sustainable configuration of IT PPM.
Since it was first held in 1993, ECIS has been established as the most important and prestigious European conference on information systems research. ECIS 2017 takes place in Guimarães, Portugal, June 5-10, 2017.
